This notice covers the Spirited Agave Performance reporting tool operated by Spirited Agave's owner. Effective date: 28 September 2026.
Google data accessed
With the owner's authorization, the tool requests read-only access to Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Google's scopes can allow access to properties available to the authorizing account. The installed Spirited Agave collector restricts its requests to the configured Spirited Agave properties.
Reports include dates, page URLs, search queries returned by Google, clicks, impressions, search position, sessions, engagement, key-event counts and traffic sources. The tool also stores an OAuth client configuration and refresh token so it can make authorized requests. It does not request Gmail, Drive, Calendar or write access through this connection.
Purpose and handling
The reports are used to assess Spirited Agave's performance, investigate data gaps and prioritize content work. The collector communicates directly with Google's authorization and reporting services. Reports and credentials are stored on the owner's computer, with credentials kept in private files separate from versioned project reports.
Selected report data may be processed using owner-authorized analysis tools, including OpenAI tools, and retained in private project reports or backups for this reporting purpose. The collector itself has no public report-sharing endpoint. Publishing an analysis requires a separate owner decision. Credentials are not included in project reports or repository backups.
Retention, revocation and deletion
Report files are retained until the owner deletes them or replaces them under the project's recordkeeping process; automatic expiry is not currently configured. Access can be revoked in the authorizing account's Google Account connections settings. Revoking access stops future authorized retrieval but does not remove previously saved reports. Local credentials, retained reports and backup copies must be handled separately when deleting data.

Spirited Agave Performance's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
