Agave, distillation and new oak
French oak is a defining choice in the aged range
Casa Noble is triple distilled. Blanco is unaged; Reposado spends 364 days in new French oak and Añejo spends two years. New casks give the maker a different starting point from previously used whiskey barrels.
For Marqués, the brand describes selected French oak from Allier and careful wood seasoning before cooperage. Years spent drying wood are separate from the tequila’s barrel age. The finished blend uses tequilas aged one to five years.
Made at La Cofradía in Tequila
Casa Noble describes its production at La Cofradía in Tequila, Jalisco, NOM 1137. The October 2026 CRT register also associates Casa Noble with Casa Don Roberto, NOM 1437, without assigning particular expressions or production dates to that second registration.

Reposado or Añejo?
Choose Reposado for a fresh-lime Margarita; try Añejo for an Old Fashioned
Choose Casa Noble Reposado for a fresh-lime Margarita, or try Añejo if its maker-described dried-fruit and butterscotch notes appeal for sipping or an Old Fashioned. Both can be sipped neat. Añejo spends two years in new French oak, against Reposado’s 364 days; it cost $6–7 more in our October 4, 2026 US 750 mL listings.
Reposado in a fresh-lime Margarita
For a home starting ratio, shake 2 oz Casa Noble Reposado, 1 oz fresh lime juice and ½ oz agave syrup with ice. Begin with syrup diluted one-to-one with water, then adjust for the lime and your preference. Strain over fresh ice. To compare an unaged version, substitute Casa Noble Blanco while keeping the other ingredients steady.
Añejo in an Old Fashioned-style drink
Stir 2 oz Casa Noble Añejo, 1 tsp agave syrup and two dashes of aromatic bitters with ice. Serve over a large cube and express an orange peel over the top. This home starting ratio keeps the longer-aged tequila central to the drink.
Compare Reposado and Añejo in matching glasses
Pour equal small measures of Casa Noble Reposado and Añejo into matching glasses. Begin without ice or other ingredients. This lets you decide whether Añejo’s roughly extra year in oak and small price step suit your own taste.
The luxury blend
Start with Añejo; choose Marqués for the blend and presentation
For exploring Casa Noble’s aged style at lower cost, regular Añejo is the practical starting point. Choose Marqués when its blend of older components or distinctive presentation bottle is part of the gift or occasion. Marqués was about $170 for a confirmed 750 mL bottle, versus $52–56 for regular Añejo in our October 4, 2026 US listings.
Marqués blends twelve extra añejos and nine añejos aged from one to five years. Its label and product title use Añejo; five years describes the oldest component. The Marqués bottle above has its own presentation, so check whether a shop includes the box pictured in its offer.
Selección Volume II is a separate eight-year release
Selección del Fundador Volume II is a historical eight-year extra añejo, triple distilled and aged in small new French-oak barrels. Old Town’s retained listing gives 41.5% ABV and an asking price of about $1,550; it was out of stock on October 4, 2026. It is a separate release from the current 40% ABV Marqués blend.
Is Casa Noble additive free?
Yes. Casa Noble is additive free, according to founder Pepe Hermosillo.

For a lower-priced organic blanco, Tres Agaves was around $30, compared with Casa Noble at $39–42 in our October US check. Altos is another less expensive cocktail option.
For the opposite end of the budget, Clase Azul puts more emphasis on the decanter. Compare that presentation with Marqués’ blend of 21 aged tequilas.
